I want to praise Houston River Fire Department and Ward 6 Fire Department. I had an issue in my house. I had a breaker that kept tripping and i could smell smoke and had no clue where it was coming from so i called 911. Within 10 minutes Dean Lappe was in my driveway and shortly thereafter Ward 6 Fire was in scene. They were very professional and were determined to help me find where my problem was and what was causing it. They brought thermal imaging cameras but were unable to find a hotspot but no one would leave. They were determined to find the cause. Well needless to say I wasn't aware that I had an electrical outlet behind the door to one of our bedrooms and that is where an outlet shorted out. I have never needed the fire department before personally but i am so impressed with all these guys and gals. It means so much to me to have people that care about others.
