Ward 6 Firefighters were called at 8:57pm this evening to respond to a woods fire located off of Hargrove Loop

Upon our arrival, approximately 2 acres of wooded area with thick underbrush brush was burning. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in about an hour.
Thank you to our volunteers for your response after working your regular jobs all day and participating in training this evening. We appreciate you.
