The fire located west of Mitchell and Brown Rd and west of Hwy 27 is a control burn being conducted by a private contractor, they have dozers and ATVs on site and are monitoring the fire. You may also see the glow from the fire north of 5 Star Estates. The fire dept is in contact with the contractor should they have any issues.

Currently the fire is contained within the perimeter fire control lanes and is burning in on itself.
