| Upon arrival of Engine 5, the skid steer was involved with fire and was partially in a pile of burning logs. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and overhauled the burn pile to prevent re-ignition. Unit 902 reported to DeQuincy Memorial and assisted with securing Air Evac 125 - Kinder, La to transfer the operator to a burn center in Galveston. DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department was requested to assist with a landing zone. |
