!! Emergency Responders were shown appreciation at an Emergency Responder Appreciation Dinner and Service at The First United Pemtecostal Church of DeQuincy. Responders from Law enforcement, Fire, and EMS were in attendance. Numerous responders were recognized by State Senator Mike Reese and Representative Dewith Carrier for long term service to their communities as emergency responders. Each were presented a certificate of Commendation from the Louisiana State Senate. Chief Todd Parker 33 years of service. Captain Teri Parker 31 years of service. All of the firefighters from Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One were recognized for their tireless efforts and dedication to serving their community. Chief Parker also presented a Certificate of Appreciation for 5 years of service as the Ward 6 Fire Chaplain. We extend our deepest thanks to the members of 1st UPC of DeQuincy for the meal and recognition. |
