Ward Six Fire Protection tax renewal is on the upcoming December 7, 2024 ballot

This is our 10 year renewal for our 12.25 mill property tax which funds our fire department operations.

The department was established in 1986 and at that time, we averaged approximately 70-80 emergency calls per year. We now average 400-500 emergency calls per year.

Our department consists of 5 fire stations, 7 engines, 3 tankers, 4 command vehicles. We also have 3 brush UTVs and a mobile air trailer.

The property millage supports the operations and maintenance of all stations, trucks and payroll for our full time, part time and volunteer staffing.

Ward Six Fire Protection has always and will continue to provide the best professional emergency services for our community. We ask for our community to continue to support the efforts of Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One.
