On Saturday, Dec 7, The Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One the 12.25 mill tax millage renewal is on the ballot. This is a renewal and not a new tax.

This millage provides funding to support the operations of the fire department that provide fire and emergency services to the citizens residing in Ward 6 of Calcasieu Parish.
