At 12:21 a.m. Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One Engine 17, Service 10 with 4 firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Ward 1 Fire Department for a structure fire in the 2700 blk of Watts Rd.

The residential manufactured home was unoccupied and was fully involved with fire on arrival of Ward 1 FD. Ward 6 apparatus performed water shuttle operations and personnel assisted with extinguishment.

The home was a total loss. There were no injuries to firefighters. All Ward 6 units returned to District at about 4:00am.
