On Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, Ward 6 Firefighters met at Station 2 to conduct a teamwork and communications training exercise. The training required Firefighters to work in teams of two in order to complete the drill.

One member of the team was blindfolded and utilized the extrication spreaders to locate and move red cups onto a tic tac toe board. The 2nd firefighter was the eyes of the drill and provided the first firefighter with directions to achieve the assignment.

This training was an excellent hands on training that develops teamwork, trust, and communication skills of each member while operating at emergency incidents.

The red cups were placed through out the apparatus bay similar to a scavenger hunt. Both teams did excellent on the drills.
