On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Ward 6 Fire participated in hands on training that consisted of proper hose advancement, exposure protection, LPG fire control, and Foam application on Hydrocarbon fires.

HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT, DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department, and Beauregard Parish Fire District 2 also participated in the drill.

Beauregard Fire District 2 provided a meal to all of the volunteer firefighters that attended training.

Training together helps these departments to establish great working relationships and teamwork when responding to large scale emergencies in each of our communities.
