At 3:19pm, Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One responded to a reported travel trailer on fire on Lucia's Marcantel Rd. Upon arrival of Command Unit 901, the travel trailer was fully involved with fire and the fire had spread to a pickup truck which was also heavily involved with fire.

DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department and HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT responded as automatic aid.

Firefighters used a defensive fire attack to quickly control the fire. A tractor and another truck was in close proximity and were protected from damage by firefighters.
