Ward Six Fire Dept was called at 2:20 this morning to respond to a structure fire on Heurtevant Road in north Sulphur.
Upon our arrival, flames and smoke were showing from the garage area of the brick home. Firefighters quickly attacked and extinguished the fire, saving the home. There was damage to both vehicles and to the garage area of the home.
There were no injuries to the occupants of the home or to any of the Firefighters on scene. Automatic Aid Assistance was received from DeQuincy and Houston River Fire Depts.
