Assisting Ward 1 on a Structure Fire

April 9, 2022

At 6:32am, Ward 6 Units 901, 904, and Engine 17 responded to a mutual aid request from Ward 1 Fire Dept. for a structure fire on Traxler Dr near Apache and Redwood drive.
Ward 6 firefighters assisted Ward 1 with extinguishment and overhaul while E17 provided water.
HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT responded with the air trailer to replenish SCBA cylinders on scene.
Ward 6 units were finished with the assignment and returned to district at approx. 9:30 am.
