| At 6:19am, Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One responded to a single vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle at Hwy 27 and Pine Forest.
On arrival of Command Unit 901, a large crane truck was observed flipped on its side. The driver was still inside and unable to self extricate. Two passengers were able to self extricate and suffered minor injuries.
Firefighters removed the front windshield and extricated the driver. Acadian Ambulance transported the driver to the hospital for medical treatment.
Firefighters assisted with closing Pine Firest Road until the vehicle could be uprighted and removed. |
